Ive heard (and read) that Trey and the rest of the band didnt want to be formulaic in their approach to the follow to Altars.... They recorded an album that is slower in pace and tempo, yet retains the complex song arrangements and technical playing from the debut. The album is another highly revered release in death metal and also retains the same line-up from Altars.... It also has the distinction of sharing the same cover artwork with technical thrash masters, Hexenhaus first album A Tribute to Insanity \m/
