Ive known about this whole taco johns incident from the beginning of the initial complaint & I have to say a few things pertaining to bullying: Workplace bullying us one of the most common forms of #bullying in todays society. Its so minute that its just-a-joke to the ones doing the bullying. No he didnt HAVE to wear the name tag (wasnt physically forced),but the atmosphere of the work area was probably so unprofessional and almost categorized as laid back and fun to someone with a teenagers mentality (the manager) that tylerprolly just wanted to fit in so that way he can be good at his job & have fun. Luckily someone knew the situation was wrong and stepped in and formed a complaint that soon spread like wildfire through Yankton . I seriously love how 99% of the things I read is support for Tyler! Thats awesome! But of course Theres people writing statuses I read on my news feed saying he just wants attention ,bashing gay ppl in general or that Tyler has been mean to me before,he deserves it. If you are AGAINST bullying as much as I am the only thing that matters is - The situation is WRONG (& is true btw*) - If you are against gays ...keep your thoughts to yourself!!!! - he doesnt deserve that - the company needs to step in big time! -people especially kids and teens need to realize that even though its Just a joke; words & actions do hurt!! Theres some of us (I use to be that way) who laugh a long without realizing people are making fun of us but in a nicer way. Im in full support of you Tyler Brandt & I hope you get an apology from the company . A job is suppose to be professional/safe and I know how some businesses around Yankton can be the total opposite . Dont let yourself get down when and if you have read some of the negative statuses that I have on fb. Ignore them because they dont understand the situation at all. Do know that you have a lot of support and hopefully this teaches people that Bullying is an evolving problem and happens in places it definitely shouldnt!!
