Ive known and worked for and with people whom are of the Islamic faith, not once did they ever begrudge me praying. In fact my old boss who was from Yemen thought it was very honorable that I would pray over my meals. He also thought it funny I prayed when I flew, not because I prayed but because of my unfounded fear. So when I see these stories about Muslims being offended by prayer I have to give a highly skeptical chuckle, because the Muslims I know respect a person who will pray over a person to afraid or to lazy to pray. Just my experience!
