Ive lived in Iowa now for 10+ years (native Nebraskan, raised in western NE) and I love where I live. The loess hills are beautiful. What I cannot get over, and this has bugged me since before we moved over there, is how Iowans drive in the left hand lane on the interstate or two lane highways. I am continually forced to pass cars on the right - its dangerous. Whats the deal Iowans? Its an epidemic. Get the heck over! When a car comes up behind you when youre cruising in the left hand lane, get over. I like to drive fast, but I dont have a big ego, if you want to be in front of me, fine... speed up. Done with my rant (:
