Ive lived in an Islamic country for much of my life and here is this nations fundamental belief and one my America is sorely lacking....this is a philosophy that most countries will find hard to rival. It is also a signal that our assistance (to the needy and under-privileged) is neither interest motivated, nor conditional. Rather, it is dedicated towards the overall prosperity of the human race, regardless of their race or religion and therein lies the dignity of the action. Eid Mubarak.
