Ive lived in my place for about a year & for the past 10 months Ive tried so hard to make it feel like home. When I come through the door I dont get that ahh Im home feeling. This is the first time Ive lived by myself with savannah & a lot of times when im alone Im uncomfortable. Until tonight...laying on the couch watching Disney movies with my princess i looked around, my coffee table was a disaster & covered in her stuff, toys all over the floor & jibberish coming from my toddlers mouth. Yet Ive never felt so at home & at peace. My life couldnt have been anymore perfect nor complete at that very moment. Its easy to forget what you have when you let lifes struggles get in the way of seeing the little things that make up the bigger picture. Im thankful for what I have & think this is a sign that I need to think less of what bothers me & more of what makes me happy
