Ive loved reading the facts that people are posting, because I like learning more in-depth things about people that dont normally come up in a conversation. Here are some about me (most are long, but say a lot about me): -I am an only child and am very close to my parents. They are there for me through anything and everything, and I consider them two of my best friends. -I am Catholic. I attend church with my parents almost every Sunday, am a Eucharistic Minister, and am in my third and final year as a member of the Pastoral Council. I have also gone to Catholic schools for my entire education, except for my freshman year of college at UofL. -I don’t really care much for sports. I’ll watch a game, but I don’t really get into it. That being said, I have UK items and UofL items. And no, I’m not a traitor or a bandwagon jumper. I just don’t care. Although blue does bring out my blue eyes. ;) -I love children. I’ve been babysitting half of my life, since the age of 12. -My puppy, Sammy, is the first pet I have ever had that I could really play with. I’ve had 2 hamsters, some hermit crabs, a mini frog (thanks to Amy Wheatley), and many fish. -My grandma passed away when I was 16, a few months after she had surgery to remove brain aneurysms. The last time I got to see her, she was so fragile looking that I told her goodbye and I loved her from the side of her bed, but I couldn’t bear to touch her. She passed away the next morning. My biggest regret is that I didn’t suck it up and give her a hug and a kiss. Although this is my biggest regret, it has taught me a great lesson in life. Now one of my mottos to live by is “Live life with no regrets, just lessons learned.” -My first CD was Alan Jackson’s “Don’t Rock The Jukebox,” which I got when I was 3. I still have it 21 years later. I am obsessed with country music and going to concerts. I love listening to CDs in their entirety, and I actually buy physical CDs, not just download them digitally. I’ve met a lot of country singers, and no, it’s not because of a connection somewhere. It’s because I’m smart and know where to be and when. Sometimes it’s just pure luck. Just a few people I’ve met include: Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Brantley Gilbert, Thomas Rhett, Thompson Square, Randy Houser, Brett Eldredge, and Corey Smith. -I also don’t like Taylor Swift anymore. At the red carpet at the CMAs last year, Taylor was going down the row taking pictures with people and signing whatever they had. When she got to me, she looked at my guitar and sharpie, looked at me (wearing my birthday sash that mom got me, and it was actually my birthday), then went to sign the next person’s item. Totally skipped me. But luckily Keith Urban came out right after and wished me a happy birthday, called me sweetheart in his Australian accent, and signed my guitar. I’d rather have his autograph anyway. ;)
