...Ive never been a fan of Jamaican dancehall music...tuned out of reggae/dancehall scene around the advent of Yellowman onward. Recently, Ive been getting back into Jamaican music of all stripes & came across one Vybz Kartel...an extremely interesting dancehall DJ/alleged mega-violent gangster who essentially ruled the scene until he & his crew got nailed for one murder & were allegedly behind 100 others...kinda makes the gangster/hiphop scene up here look like a church picnic by comparison...hahahaha...anyway, while Vybz is walking down his 35 year sentence, you might want to check out this documentary: youtu.be/d90Xbp63W24
