Ive never been one of the many who believe plants are incapable of such things...I believe plants are capable of much more than most believe. I just cannot let a plants possible intellect and capabilities stop me from eating them, due to the fact that I NEED them to survive, unlike animals and animal products. Most people who like to claim the no central nervous system idea (in defense of eating or killing them) as to why plants are incapable of this or that, while ignoring hard facts and the fact that just because they do not have what WE have or other known animals and organisms to have to think, feel and process information, does not mean they do not have something else that makes such things possible for them. Anyhow...it is usually just argued to make themselves feel better about eating or killing them. Ive never felt ok with it, and never would...but I deal with it, and still give my respect to them, as I know they are capable of much more than we like to give them credit for and are likely FAR more complex beings than wed like to believe. Think what you will, of me or plants...it matters not to me. I just find this interesting and worthy of exploring.
