Ive never been too crazy about painting a muscle cars exterior. Honestly, mine would like crap on the outside. All I would mainly do is grind the rust off and put enough paint to keep it from coming back. However, if you open the engine bay it would spotless. It would actually look better than a new car. Id do the same with the interior, too. Id probably have some weird stuff like my MT slicks tucked, skidplates, rally ready suspension, track ready drive train, custom tranny, optional silencing exhaust, really nice sound system, over insulted, and master control over all exterior and interior lights.
