Ive not been watching movies for quite a while... and I still watch a good movie or two somehow, yet very seldom( if theres a good review, or i had enough good reasons to justify why i needed to) though I am fully aware of predictive programming, MK Ultra, and a lot of movies had esotheric, new age and satanic symbolism etc that are too common in Hollywood. I was such a big fan of high octane and action packed movies. This is one scene from the movie G.I. Joe Retaliation that I really loved. Its not the best action movie that Ive seen and I was really disappointed that their leader Duke was killed. As a critic, I could point out a lot of negativities in the plot devt, performance of the actors, character devt etc. but I would not go into that. I will zero in the positive insights that ive learned from watching this movie. In this particular scene, Jinx had to undergo an intense training with Snake Eyes with a blindfold on to prepare for a dangerous mission and face their ruthless enemy and former comrade Storm Shadow. This awesome scene was so impressive and engaging for me. And Im sure the fans of G.I. Joe Retaliation would all agree. Another breathtaking scene was when Snake Eyes and Jinx battle with the black ninjas in the mountains to capture Storm Shadow. I watched this scene 3x and Ive learned a valuable spiritual insight. A highly skilled ninja Warrior is able handle 2 swords at a time whether her eyes are blindfolded or not. Years in the battle, rigid training and discipline has equipped her to counter any surprise attack from her enemies and to handle any formidable foe at any given point in time. In the Spiritual Realm its the same...Keen spiritual discernment or spiritual eyes would keep us from the deception that abounds today from false teachers, false prophets and false doctrines etc. A keen spiritual discernment is a spiritual gift but just as a sword is being purged, molded and sharpened by fire through a long period of time, spiritual eyes/discernment should be honed and practiced. Highly seasoned Warriors who are fully trained in digging, studying, memorizing/meditating and understanding the Word of God, being filled by the Holy Spirit are highly trained in warfare prayer, and praying in the spirit at all times are capable of handling the deception, and lies that are being spewed by the enemy in this day and age. Not to mention that attacks can come in all shapes and forms... Spiritual, physical, subtle/Sneaky, volatile etc... Spiritual victory comes to those who are prepared for battle and are fully equipped with the full armor. (Eph 6:10) Above all obedience and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit is the key to our spiritual victory. We should always be in step with the Spirit of God and our Commander in Chief, the Lord Jesus Christ at all times. Do not despise the fiery trial that you face today! Youre being trained and equipped. God gives the hardest battles to His strongest soldiers!
