Ive not updated all week as i hoped id have something good to say, but its been a bit of a rubbish week for poppy, last wk she had 2 admissions to our local hospital for IV fluids and IV corrections, an we struggled with hydration all weekend, then since sunday shes been non stop retching (she cant physically be sick due to her transplanted stomach) so has been back in hospital again since, her blood results have been all off, especially her liver numbers, which has been a worry as its a donor liver too, and yesterday our transplant team decided she needed to transfer down there so we were awaiting a bed, and all worrying. Todays bloods are better so we are holding off hopefully :) we really dont want to be having to transfer so close to Christmas so we just need to keep hoping that pops does her thing!! 💗 Poor things had enough of the constant retching and shes exhausted so sleeping lots..definitely has been awake more today though so fingers crossed her new bowel will start to pick up too. ☺ Its early days post transplant so we just have to roll with the blips for now...im sure poppy will fight back as always....after all she is a super hero princess!💗👑
