Ive put a lot of time, heart, blood, sweat, and tears into this organization and am very proud of it. We are one of the best in Louisville. Ive fostered over 10 dogs for DCDR and theyve all found wonderful homes. I also adopted my amazing dog Russ through them and helped friends and family find their new companions though this rescue group. Please donate if you can, any bit helps. Keep the receipt and write it off your 2014 taxes. Its a win-win! Feel good about helping out mans best friend and feel good about doing it while saving some on your taxes! So here are the nuts and bolts of it. So far weve raised about $1,500 of our $15,000 goal. We have in excess of $10,000 in current medical bills and several very necessary medical treatments on hold. There are also several dogs at the shelter now that wed like to help. Todays $5 friday was a complete bust. Zero donations. If we are not able to raise these funds, we will not be able to continue our work.
