Ive realized, as I sit here working on programming and putting together ideas for the Juggernaut Become Unstoppable 3 Seminar and the seminar series being done in conjunction with TZ Strength (Austin, Fredericton, Dublin), that Im tremendously privileges to work with such a tremendously wide variety of athletes, and Im reminded just how much Ive learned about the human performance envelope working with all these folks. And this data is unique- Ive got 200 pound guys who bench press in the mid 4s and run sub 5 minute miles, elite level duathletes who powerlift, powerlifters training for ultramarathons, nationally ranked OCR competitors and CrossFitters who combine stats that simply shouldnt exist in a single human being, an 800 pound deadlifter who runs nearly an 8:00 mile... as Im sitting here looking at OBLA curves and VDot/pace calculators, I realize that a lot of the data out there simply doesnt apply to individuals with capabilities so far outside the norm. So, in a nutshell- tremendously excited to be able to bring some of this data Ive accumulated working with these athletes out to the public. I HATE hyperbole, but honestly, this is pretty groundbreaking stuff for a huge physiology/biochem nerd like myself. Anyway, just figured Id share. Been on my mind a hell of a lot the last week or so, and definitely looking forward to bringing some stuff to the field that will be novel (and useful!).
