Ive recently started a new practice of not just having a running to-do list, but specifying exactly what I want to get done each day. Two very interesting things have shown up as I do this, one expected and one a, um, surprising surprise! 1. I am a whole lot more focused and productive. I expected this; its why I started this practice in the first place. 2. What typically *doesnt* get done are the things I have on the list that are focused on just me or just my business. I say this is surprisingly surprising because I feel like I really should have expected this, but I really *didnt*. All very interesting. Now to tweak and play with it and see how to get the me and my business things to assume an appropriate sense of priority!
