Ive so many things to say. These past 2 days have been a wonderful experience. From getting accustomed to a hall, to normalizing yourself to a piano youre not familiar with, the competition has taught me so much. Im very blessed to have known all the semi-finalists. Every one of the top 10 has given me such exposure to good music, good taste and most importantly, new friendships with the ones in the same boat. I thank first and foremost, my piano teacher, Ng Chong Lim for inspiring me to do strive for better each time. If I even claimed 2 years ago that I would even win a prize for such a competition as Steinway, it would have been the joke of the century! Thank you so much for believing in me and words cant describe how grateful I am. I have only progressed this far because of your guidance and it is my wish that I can further improve! :) Next, to my parents whove devoted their time, money and energy on me. To my mother, who has been always been there to assist me with my difficulties on and off the piano! To my father, whose analogies on sport ethics in relation to music help develop the way I work thus far.
