Ive spoken of this before. My love for music started with Elton John. It was sometime between 1974 and 1975 that I discovered several 45 rpm records. One of them was Elton Johns Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. I would play this over and over and over on our massive record player/ 8 track/ am/fm radio. This console was ridiculously huge but man, I LOVED IT! I was struck by the beauty of the music and the melody of the vocals. That song has been a favorite ever since. Regardless of what Elton believes and regardless of his choices in life, Im thankful for him. The other record was by a band named Wings. Band On The Run, it received almost as much play. God bless both Paul MCCartney and Elton John. Your music has brought me many, many years of enjoyment. Forever grateful.
