Ive spoken to miss mines at MOCP & she is happy for me to come in & show the children some pictures of playground equipment. What my plans are is to show them all, as in every single child, as I think its very important that they choose what they want for their Park. For example Ill take along perhaps 20 or 30 pictures of different kinds of playground equipment and each child can choose their favourite five items. Once Ive done the whole school we can see what they prefer and try and work towards getting something very similar. My plans are to also go round The other schools in the local area and do the same thing. Also Miss Mines has agreed to let me run a competition for the children and what Im thinking of, is for them to design a say no to strangers sign Perhaps two different signs. One of the the infant children can win one and one that the juniors can win one. Im also thinking of doing the same thing trying to promote throwing away litter into bins. Ive told her that Ill do this when I get back from America in a few weeks time. What do people think? Opinions please xx
