Ivor here. Hows it going? Well, I dont know what to report- its been a while- other than to say work continues on the new GJ album. It has been mainly me plugging away! And its going great. As Ive said, Im working on 19 tracks. Not all of them will make it, but some of them are now at the stage where they are nearing completion, at least sonically. It has been an interesting process. GJ always says its like a horse race, and it kind of is. Some tracks you think are great and they get overtaken by other ones, then you have to re-visit them and bring them in line with the strong ones. Its hard work. But constantly the tracks are having a positive effect on one another. There will probably be one more instrumental overdubbing session. There will be new material next year. All I will say is that this album is very heavily rhythm-led. And it looks like there will be one cover version...
