Iyanla inspires me to do the work. Hurt people hurt people. Damaged people damage people. Its not them (men) and its not us (women). Its equally our responsibility to do better. Whew! To listen to men pour their hearts out about their damage and watch them shed tears about it is a bit overwhelming, but also brings awareness and understanding. Its not about giving excuses, but more about acknowledging the truth and using that as a healing mechanism.
