I’ll break 2nd term jinx –Ajimobi Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State yesterday vowed to break the jinx working against those seeking to rule the state twice as governor.He said he would be the first governor of the state that would accomplish a second term.He said: “I will be the first governor to break that jinx. Who says Ibadan never serves a governor twice? I will be the first to achieve that.”He cited the accomplishments of his administration to include the construction of Eleyele Expressway, Ojoo Roundabout and several other projects. Addressing residents of Ibadan from different walks of life at the Government House Arcade during the Eid-el-Fitri celebartion, Ajimobi said the people of Oyo State knew the difference between his administration and past administrations in the state. Members of the state council of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), led by their Chairman, Taofeek Oyerinde (a.k.a Fele), members of the Hausa community, market men and women and others were also at the Government House when the governor spoke. Ajimobi urged the people to keep their voters cards, saying it was their power.
