Nick’s successful solo career would likely not be possible without the disbandment of the Jonas Brothers. But although it left the trio’s separate professional lives in a bit of a limbo, Nick says that his brother’s Kevin and Joe, are still behind their little brother 100 percent. “They have been really supportive and it’s meant the world,” explains Nick. “That chapter is closed for all of us. It is, yeah. Forever, no. But so much has happened in a year, but I couldn’t tell you what will happen in 10 years. It was exactly a year ago right now that I was sitting in my apartment in New York and kind of looking at the ceiling, like, ‘What am I doing with my life? What am I going to do?’ I knew there was music in my heart, and that I wanted to pursue some serious acting projects, but that all felt so far out of reach at the moment.” Nick Jonas and his brother’s may not be planning on recording a new album anytime soon, but Nick is doing ok so far as a solo artist.
