I’m loving the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and Im putting a challenge out for team Debbie to family and friends! My dear friend and my son’s Godmother, Deborah Worrell Porter has ALS. George Washington University Hospital was so amazed at her strength and courage that they chose to feature her in a short-story documentary that chronicles the earlier stages of her journey. Debbie is a rock, a fighter, and a woman of endearing faith who is determined to outlast this awful disease. Her fight is evident as you will witness in this video. Not a day goes by that I’m not inspired by her strength, her tenacity and her unconditional love and obedience to God regardless of her situation. Even on her worst day, you’ll find her praying for someone else who may be having a hard time. I love her! I appreciate her! I thank God for giving us Debbie, the true epitome of a woman of courage.
