I’m not going to apologize for being me, ever again. I’m not going to apologize for loving an imperfect person, nobody is perfect.. people mess up, shit happens. I’m not going to apologize for failing a class, I did my best. I’m not going to apologize for having a drink, I’m 21, bite me. I’m not going to apologize for deviating from the plan, life happens, I’m 21, bite me. I’m not going to apologize for being uncertain about what I want from life, I’m 21, bite me. I’m not going to apologize for having fun, I work my ass off. I’m not going to apologize for making school a priority in my life, I know that if I ever want to enjoy my life I need a good foothold. I’m not going to apologize for my insecurities, they’re mine, I own them and will work through them in time. I will apologize for not knowing my own worth, short changing myself, beating myself up because I’m never good enough in your eyes, trying to please everyone else, and sabotaging MY life/happiness. Change is coming and a lot of people are going to be upset about it, but it’s my life and I’m sick of putting myself on the back burner.
