I’m signing out to go on a partial cyber-holiday for the next 29 days to have opportunity to carryout rigorous academic exercise, so that I can acquire more knowledge to counter corruptibly educated Nebuchadnezzar campaigners like Mr Bastard and the fortune seeking anus lickers in TAN. At this point, a clarification has to be made. My dye-in-the wool support for General Muhammadu Buhari is not for self-aggrandizement, it is utterly altruistic. It is for the good of this generation and generation yet unborn. Nigeria must get it right. It is now or never. We cannot continue to grope in the darkness of underdevelopment because some callous individuals are lavishing our commonwealth. Nigerians must rise to salvage themselves. The people that embarked on the revolution in France in 1789 never knew that 225 years after, France would be calling the shots in world affairs. We must do it for ourselves and our children’s children. As a historian, I’m careful about the judgment of history; I don’t want to go down in historical drain as one of those whose inertia in the face of misrule destroy Nigeria.
