I’m sure that most of you have seen this by now….. And by all accounts it must look like I’m pretty full of myself for doing this…. But in my world…..this is really about the great guys that I once worked with…..the great guys I’m working with now… and the amazing guys that I’m most proud to be working with for the future! There are also some surprises in store if all goes as planned…… But let me make this clear…..and what a thing to ask for…..to get an equal share band together with 4 other virtuosos in their own right…..who all have by far exceeded my own expectations…all of which are good people…..we can agree to make the highest quality music together that we are capable of…..and …..oh……could they all live in Southern California too!! I have said in many interviews that I wanted to bring back the “Holy S**t Factor” back into the Hard Rock/Heavy Metal genre……I don’t know about you….but I miss the music I grew up listening to….created by a group of virtuosos that without question altered the course of my life! Well….with these guys by my side….Mark Huff, Dario Seixas, Chris Moore and Wayne Findlay….we have all the ingredients necessary to do just as I hoped at our fingertips! We are indeed capable of what it is that I wish us to be capable of…..and I am most proud to be working side by side with them!! This coming Oct 17th……among all the other amazing musicians that have so graciously agreed to take part in this night…..5 MF’s will be taking the stage…..each song that we do, will spotlight these guys in such a way that there will be no doubt left in anybody’s mind just how lucky I am! So I hope that all who are able…..will come out to witness what I believe to be one of the greatest turning points in my life since the day I joined Dio!.....That was truly a dream come true….I grew up listening to that man….and there were times when I actually lived on the streets in order to try to get a band together with a guy that just sounded like him….and 5 years later…..I was headlining 20,000 -100,000 seat venues with the man himself…..performing songs that we wrote together!!.....Now that I must move forward into the unwritten pages of life without him…..I am strengthened by the fact that these 4 guys are indeed…..another dream come true!! Sorry if this sounds schmultzy…..but it’s true!! Thanks everyone…..and hope to see you there!!
