I’m writing this from Louisville where it looks like it’s going to be perfect weather for the Derby. Today, the eyes of the world will be on Kentucky and rightfully so. I’m proud of my old Kentucky home which this morning will become everyone’s home. We have the finest horse race in the world, one that reflects the spirit, hard work, and history of all Kentuckians. Elaine and I love this show of Kentucky tradition. We’ve been going for a long time and try to do everything we can to plan our schedules around this one of a kind event. Today, whether you’re at Churchill Downs or watching the Derby with family and friends, I hope we’ll be able to put politics aside and join together for the Run for the Roses.
