I’ve always heard that the worst day fishing is better than the best day at work. I was at the Callaway boat ramp about 5:30 am yesterday. Pitch black. The streetlight at the ramp was out. To make a long story short. I was bitten by the local pelican, twice; Missed a step and fell off the dock onto the boat ramp; Got busted up a little. Went fishing any way. Froze my a.. off and never got so much as a nibble. Yep, It was still better than the best day at work!
