I’ve been cycling for around 7 years now. I’ve encountered many hostile people while on the road, irritated drivers, verbal insults, trucks that like to drive by very close then gun their diesel engines to blow a nice flume of black smoke in your face, many one finger salutes, f-bombs, etc. But yesterday was an all time low. While on my return I was on Thompson Nursrey road headed east, a White Tahoe heading west was approaching and one of the occupants (a child) hurled his drink at me and hit me in the face. Now it was a styrofoam cup from a Fast Food establishment. Fortunately i wasn’t hurt but will ask the establishment if I can can review their survalliance tape between the time of 6:30 & 7:00 pm. Police have been notified. I will gladly give them the License plate number. My faith in mankind has taken another blow.....
