I’ve just moved here from halfway across the country. I have two things to confess. 1: As a gay man, coming from an area where there’s gay men galore, it’s quite hard to make new gay friends around here. I’ve made a few, but my circle of friends is still relatively small, and that makes me sad. 2: With 1 being mentioned, I met a guy that I really, really, really like. Probably the ONLY person I’ve met so far that I would consider to be boyfriend material. However, he’s taken, and it’s eating away at me, even though I know it shouldn’t. So much so, that for a brief moment, I thought about playing home wrecker. Does anyone have any advice on meeting people for either friends or otherwise?
