I’ve only been a Christian for 4 years and I think it’s pretty - TopicsExpress

I’ve only been a Christian for 4 years and I think it’s pretty safe to say that at some point in our walk with Christ (and even when we aren’t Christian) we struggle with knowing what our purpose is. The fact that we are Christian makes it more challenging because we want to be the best person we possibly can to show people Christ, and we don’t always know what that looks like. Reading and praying are both important, but don’t get stuck on that. In God’s eyes, it isn’t about how many verses you know, it’s about what you’re doing to love people and be a light. Those are both important things to do, NO DOUBT. However, I’ve found that over time I’ve started finding my purpose when I’m with people. Whether it’s people in the states, or people here in South Africa (where I am right now), I’ve learned the importance of spending time with people. That’s how you learn what you love, what you dislike, what sparks your interest, and makes you happy. So let me just encourage you to pray that God will give you time to pray/read more, but also put you around people, and in different situations that will help you figure out where God can use you to shine. :)
