I’ve to confess I was afraid of coming to St. Louis by myself. - TopicsExpress

I’ve to confess I was afraid of coming to St. Louis by myself. This planet called “international exchange” has the power of scaring even those people who like to make their lives an adventure. I’m like that. Adventure is in my blood bro. Although I’m not an irresponsible person, I do like the unknown. Don’t know where your next step will guide you can be exciting sometimes. Following my instinct I took the next step, and then I had one of the most incredible periods of my life. It wasn’t easy at all but I would do everything again. It has been very precious knowing the world through all of you, my friends. And you know what? I want to continue discovering what is still undiscovered. Travel the world learning different cultures keeps me alive and young. No text book could provide me what I’ve experienced this past year. Don’t you like that? So, let’s shut down our gadgets and just look, listen, smell and feel more. Let’s travel more! I’m getting off on this station, but, like a train that keeps moving forward, our lives cannot wait no matter what. Time flies by so fast and this trip has come to an end. It’s time to go back to Brazil until my next step. But before doing that I would like to thank everyone who contributed with this fantastic journey. I’ve learned a lot and a piece of each one of you will remain in my heart wherever I’m going from now. Well, what else can I say? I will miss you all but better than say “bye”, I’m going to say “see you soon” because I hope to see you guys again someday. Come on, Brazil is just down there. Forever purple and gold, fellas. Go Griffins! Go Cards! Peace out!
