JACOBS, Florence M.-Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Nithview Home in New Hamburg. Florence was born in North Easthope Township 91 years ago. Beloved wife of the late Maurice C. Jacobs. Loving mother of Eddie and his wife Lynn Jacobs of Embro, Ray and his wife Jackie Jacobs of Kitchener, Elaine and her husband Larry Gerber of Wellesley, John and his wife Bev Jacobs of Wellesley, and Sue and her husband Dave Hammer of Wellesley. Cherished Grandma of 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Mildred Beam, Margaret Dotzert, Eddie Roth and his wife Betty, and sister-in-law of Grace Roth. Predeceased by her parents, Edward Roth and Clara Gingerich and brothers, Walter Roth and Don Roth. Also by brothers-in-law, Wilson Green, Gordon Dotzert and Vernon Beam, and a sister-in-law Eileen Roth. Also by a grandson, Derek Jacobs in 1977. Florence was a member of the North Easthope Reformed Mennonite Church. Florence and Maurice farmed in Wellesley Township, retiring in 1978 to the town of Wellesley, where they enjoyed gardening together. Visitation at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, where family and friends will be received on Saturday, August 31 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be conducted at the North Easthope Reformed Mennonite Church on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 2 pm. Rev. Gene Beehler and Rev. Allan Bankert will officiate.
