JEEVAN KI BHAGIA has a interesting tale to go with it.By 1970 itself RD Burman was totally independent composer which meant he ceased to be chief assistant of SD Burman.Meera Dev Burman wife of SD Burman who was an accomplished musician, singer and lyricist, stepped in as Dadas chief assistant to fill the void. The same group of musicians who worked for Dada also worked for Pancham now.Tere Mere Sapnes music was almost complete with only this song remaining. When Dada turned up in studio , to his dismay, he found that his musicians had left for Chennai where Pancham was at work, maybe, because he was the rising sun/son.As a last resort, he summoned ace fluit player Hari Prasad Chaurasia and santoor wizard Shiv Kumar Sharma to complete the recording. He explained the theme and asked them to play as they wished. If you notice, there are only instruments flute and santoor apart from the percussion instruments.............San Ju, Gurinder Dimpy, Jasbir Kaur Nicholson, Manjit Handa, Subhash Parihar, Rinnkie K Gill, Harry Braich, Nasheem Jawed
