JESUS CARES FOR YOU Part 1 By Evangelist Samuel What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? Luke 15:4 It may be that you are reading this today and perhaps you feel that nobody lovesand care about you. If so, I want to share with you what I shared with a young lady. I believe with all my heart that Jesus loves you and cares about you more than you could ever know. No matter what mistakes you have made or what kind of mess you may bein, He still love you. The love of Christ is beyond measure. It cannot be compared to degrees of human love. To illustrate his compassion for us, Jesus compared His love to that of a shepherd who would leave ninety-one sheep in the fold and risk all to search for one that was lost. In the Parable of the Lost Sheep(Luke 15:3-7). Jesus told of the seeking shepherd who pursed a single sheep until he rescued it and carried it home on his shoulder rejoicing. Paralleling the story of the lost sheep to that lost humanity, Jesus said, “I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance” (v. 7). What a beautiful picture our Lord painted with His word. In this great parallel He expresses how much He cares for us. To be continued.....
