JESUS CHRIST Scripture Text: Matthew 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ. Here is the first title given to our Lord in the New Testament-Jesus Christ. This chapter of the Holy Bible contains a host of names, covering three periods of fourteen generations each, but one Name stands out like a radiant state to lighten all the others; one Person to whom all must render allegiance,-Jesus (Saviour) Christ (the Anointed One). At His feet every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth. Let us pour out hearts to Him in praise and in prayer this day and every day. Amen.
