JESUS IS GOD Defending Christian Faith Apostle John made his prelude that the Word is God! Then he made two direct statements that entirely made us to understand who Jesus is, according to the teaching of the Bible. Is He God? Or Is He just a man like us made of flesh and bones? To be a God, Jesus needs to be a Creator, it is the main Character of God “to Create something from nothing” John have seen the importance of teaching it and in John:1:3, the Apostle told us that it was the preexistent Jesus who created all things;--- All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.-- Notice that John is not content to say only that all things were made through Him, but John adds the fact that --without Him nothing was made.-- In the matter of finding the truth the testimony of two are deemed acceptable, that is why Paul confirms and testified this truth, when Later on he wrote a letter to the Colossians stating that; For by Him all things were created. Paul goes on to make sure that we understand what he means by all things-- that are in heaven and that are on earth,-- visible and invisible,-- whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers.-- All things were created through Him and for Him it is written in Colossians:1:16. The Bible has laid out the basis beyond any reasonable doubt that Jesus created all things, if so, Jesus Christ is not one of the created things. He is not created but He is the Creator! In verse 17, Paul then adds, so there can be no mistake, He is before all things, and in him all things hold together— the important thing that we should know is that Jesus according to Paul hold all things together, only God can do that! We can agree that by all means everything is an equivalent to entirety! Meaning Christ is the Creator of all things, and there are no exceptions, including angels and everything visible or invisible, that is according to John and Paul who are two distinct and reliable witness of Christ, they themselves makes it clear to us and “Nowhere” is this made more clearer for us that Christ is not a creature, not just a man, not an angelic or not just any unique created being, but He is a Creator and He is God. Christ could not be both the Creator of everything and at the same time a creature Himself, it is a must for all Bible Believer to know by the heart that Jesus is Himself the uncreated Creator of all creation! John and Paul made it clear to us, while other false doctrines and misinterpretations of phrases like Christ is the firstborn found in (Colossians:1:15) or beginning of creation found in (Revelation:3:14) They are in all sense is misleading, and have wrong in the basis of understanding the entirety of the Word of God. --Christ is first over creation, not first in it-- Christ is firstborn in the sense of being the unique it does not say being created” Unique being in all nature is a man but in magnitude of a God, (He is not created, but He created it to himself to be a man when He chose to be like us)-- ...rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. (Philippians 2:7) Jesus Christ made it known that He is the Son of God. Not the likeness of our physical sonship as human beings, he declared that “The Father is in Him and He is in the Father, -- Dont you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. (John 14:10) This is the eternal, co-exisiting, co-equal relationship of God the Father and God the Son. Therefore: The Father is everlasting God and It is stated in Micah:5:2, that the messianic King to come was from everlasting. Written in Heb. 7:3 Jesus had appeared in His divine life before His human birth as the priest-king Melchizedek having neither beginning of days nor end of life Jesus was not created. He existed from eternity along with God the Father., and Jesus is God. as he declared it in (Revelation 22:13)Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.
