JEWS may be split and have different visions and attitudes towards the future of Israel. Israel is NOT nor was its founding doctrine Zionism. Both are dead intent and resolved on realizing a GREATE R Israel that some define as -the tract of land stretching between the TAURUS mountainms in South Turkey down to and including the Arabian Penensula ( with KHaibar) north/ south and the Mederereanean sea and Iran, west/east. -Others were content with one. Stretching from the Euphrates to the Nile -while others , the meek and the humble, are happy with all of historical Palestine , from the Med to the jordan river, for now only. The more sober among the Jews and the dwindling minority in Israel who preached restraint were severally under cut by TWO major developments , namely A-the demographic infusion of some one million plus Russian, both Jewish and non Jewish, emigrants which considerably increased the human reserve of aliens in Israel probably ready to fight for its colonialist project AND B-the energizing and revival of the old common Judeo/ Christian strategic vision that yielded the strategic USA/ Israeli alliance in ALL walks of life which not only empowered Israel into regional super power but actively assisted tIsrael by, to mention the most recent only, the destruction of Iraq. Events has evolved in a manner that made of the Zionist-Israeli/imperialist -USA ( Judeo/ Christian entente) a major active player in the region with an unveiled design to further fragment it with the New Middle East project AND an open , declared common, shared enmity towards its population of Arabs , Turks, Iranians and of their common bound Islam.
