JFK (and me) at White Sands Missile Range, 5 Jun 1963. He was technically my boss, and he came to visit us on the job. I was PFC Jones of the US Army Sig Corps Tech Photo Unit, and assigned to take pictures of our Commander-in-Chief paying his final visit to the Land of Enchantment. The Navy fired a Talos missile, and the Army continued the show launching an Honest John, Little John, Hawk, Pershing, Nike Hercules, and a top-secret Nike Zeus anti-missile missile. The day was crystal-clear, and these Army archive movies are very high quality, likely better than any youll see on the news tonight and tomorrow.
