JKLF ELECTION BOYCOTT CAMPAIGN…..SIT IN AND RALLY HELD AT MADINA CHOWK LAL CHOWK SRINAGAR….JKLF LEADERS VISIT ISLAMABAD, PULWAMA AND BARAMULLAH, APEAL PEOPLE TO BOYCOTT ELECTIONS……….JKLF VICE CHAIRMAN MUSHTAQ AJMAL’S RESIDENCE RAIDED BY POLICE…….SO CALLED ELECTIONS IN JAMMU KASHMIR AIMED AT HOODWINKING INTERNATIONAL OPINION AND A CONSPIRACY TO WEAKEN FREEDOM MOVEMENT: JKLF Madina Chowk Lal Chowk// so called elections in Jammu Kashmir are only aimed at hoodwinking the international opinion on Jammu Kashmir and a conspiracy to defeat a peoples freedom movement. A struggle that has sacrifices of more than 100000 martyrs at its back cannot be defeated by such ridiculous means. This was stated by the leaders of Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) while addressing a peaceful protest sit in and rally against farce elections, at Madina Chowk Gawkadal Lal Chowk today. The sit in held after Friday a prayer was attended by a large number of people including men, women and youth. Led by JKLF Vice chairman Mushtaq Ajmal, zonal general secretary sheikh Abdul Rashid and zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, the participants of sit and rally raised slogans in favor of Freedom, martyrs and election boycott. Speaking to the participants of rally, JKLF leader’s sheikh Abdul Rashid and Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri said that so called democratic election drama is being conducted by creating a fear psychosis among the people, thousands of pro Azadi leaders, activists and youth have been arrested including JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik , vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat, vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, secretary general engineer Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidi, zonal deputy chief organizer Siraj Ud Din Mir, Zonal president Noor Mohammad Kalwal, zonal senior vice president Mohammad Yasin Bhat, zonal press secretary Ashraf bin Salam, District president Pulwama Javed Ahmad Butt, senior activists ,Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, Ashfaq Hussain, Mohammad Aadil,Faisal Ahmad,Mushtaq Ahmad Maloora, Shakir Ahmad, Altaf Ahmad Raina, ,Mushtaq Ahmad Wani ,Abdul Hamid, Mohammad Sultan Wani ,Mohammad Akbar ,Fayaz Ahmad , Aakif Ahmad, Mudasir Ahmad ,Parvaiz Ahmad and Mohammad Himayoon, Assadullah sheikh etc. Besides these arrests, restrictions, raids, searches, intimidations and other oppressive measures have become order of the day. Speakers said that it is ironical that after all these anti-democratic acts India and its stooges are claiming victory. Speakers said that how India and its Kashmiri stooges can call these farce one sided elections as democratic, when they have caged their political opponents and put them behind bars. speakers said that a nation that has sacrificed more than 100000 people during a freedom struggle, whose more than ten thousand people are still missing in custody, whose hundreds of residential localities and business establishments have been destroyed by oppressors, whose women have been dishonored and that has bared operations like operation tiger, and catch and kill, and saw the tyrannical onslaught of renegades cannot remain fooled by the tactics of fear and bribe for long. While delivering the message of incarcerated JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik, speakers asked people to recognize friends and foes and stay away from these so called elections and boycott all those who are hell bent upon weakening the sacred struggle of martyrs. After the sit in, participants marched through the roads and lanes of the locality raising slogans with passion. Meanwhile JKLF activists and leaders continued with their election boycott campaign today. led by district president Islamabad Mohammed Ishaaq Ganai JKLF activists visited several places of Islamabad town namely Masjid Ahlihadees Sher Bagh,Sheikh ul Aalam Masjid, Lal Chowk, Qaziabgh Masjid ,Masjid Alnoor,Masjid Mir Danater,Achabal Adda, Nendapora etc, another delegation led by district president Baramulah Abdul Rashid Magloo visited Boitangoo, Dangerpora ,Wadoora,Brath Kalan, Gundbrath, Bomai, Tujar Shareif in Zainageer, Seelo, Behrampora,Marazi Gund,Hadipora,Chitlora,Reban Noopora, in Rafiaabad, Baramullah ,Baramullah old town, Chankhan, BabaRaza, Dogeltaing, Khushal Matoo, Jamia Masjid Sopore, Khankahi Moalla,Sopore Chowk Bus Ada, and another delegation led by Tariq Ahmad and Khizar Mohammad visited Pulwana and Shupian localities including Kakapora, Samboora, Kandizaal ,Wathoora,Rehmoo,Tangpona,Keller,Noorpora Tral and B’ed college Tral etc. JKLF Leaders and activists apprised people about the ill consequences of participating in so called elections and appealed people to boycott these farce elections. A written message of JKLF incarcerated chairman was also distributed among the masses on these occasions. Meanwhile just after the Friday prayers, police raided the residence of JKLF vice chairman Mushtaq Ahmad Ajmal’s residence at Batamloo. Police searched his residence and harassed his family. Also the heath of deputy district president of kulgam Assadullah sheikh who was arrested by police after the completion of elections in kulgam has deteriorated and he has been shifted to hospital in police custody.
