JMU PLUS: SPONSORED Kids dance and modelling programme “Children Winter Carnival” organised 23 December, Jammu: To promote talent in kids and to provide stage to the young artists of Jammu, Nirvana Academy and Dance Revolution Academy today organized kids dance and modelling programme “Children Winter Carnival 2014” at auditorium GCW Gandhi nagar Jammu. Mrs Priya Dutta HOD Khatak, Fine Arts College was the chief guest on the occasion while Sh. Vikrant Dogra Vice Chairman FIBDO, Sh. Darbari Lal Bank Manager and Sh. Bachan Lal was the Guest of honour on the occasion. The event was supported by Surya milk, JMU Plus social networking partner and Trikuta Digital Studio Jammu. More than 150 participants from different parts of Jammu took part in the programme. Participants took part in different categories of Dance and Modeling competition. Mr. Shashi Gupta renowned dance choreographer of the state, Deepak Sharma Mr J&K 2008 and Mrs. Priya Sharma classical dancer adjudged the talent programme. Programme commenced with the welcome speech of Sh. Hitesh Badyal President Nirvana Academy followed by Dogri regional dance performance by girls of DRA group and kids modelling competition. Solo, duet and group dances were also presented on the occasion. Participants from Trikuta Deep High School, Banyan International school, Harman Dance Institute, x-unit dance Institute, JD Public School and Siras High School took part in the competition. Show was conceived, Choreographed and directed by young duo of Sanjeev Mangotra and Anu Bhardwaj. Mrs. Priya Dutta while speaking on occasion said that Dance is a vital source of entertainment as well as platform to put all generation artists at one plat form. She also congratulated Sanjeev and Anu for providing platform to the budding artists of Jammu. Gurvinder Kour, Kashish Thakyal and Bhavana prominent choreographers of Jammu were also awarded on the occasion. Navaldeep Kour hosted the programme. Prominent among the others were Vikas Dogra Vice President Prayas, Vikul Gupta, Paramjeet kour, Neeraj Sharma Vice President NA, Meenakshi Sharma General Secretary NA and Nishant Vaid. Winners in different categories were: Modeling Sheetal won the tittle Super Model Kid 2014, Tanvi won Best hairstyle Award, Harshleen and Roylgeet got Best Walk Title, Harsimran won Miss Cute title, Harsheen got Best Costume Award, Sangeet won Photogenic Award,Richa got Best Smile Award, Vansh won Master Cute title and Suryanshi won Face of the year 2014 title. Dance Competition: Group Dance Competition Harman Dance Institute, PunjabiDance Group and Punjabi girls group – 1st prize Harman Dogri Dance group and Kashmiri group – 2nd prize Solo Dance Ishwar, Hanish Namotra, Sayam Verma, Rahul Kumar, Kshitiji Mahajan, Harshit Luthura, Tushar Sharma won 1st prize in different age groups of Solo dance Shirsthi, Rajat Angural, Kushal Rokaya, Sharav Luthura, Krishna Mahajan, Sourav Chouhan, Arsha got 2nd prize in different age groups of Solo dance Janvi, Tanish Salgotra, Kalash Nischal, Lakshya Gupta, Aryan Patel, Satyam Luthura and Naina won 3rd prize in different age groups of Solo dance Junior Solo Dance Muskan, Sidharth, Harsh, Shivali, Karan Digra, Sahil Patil won 1st prize in different Junior age groups of Solo dance Kiran, Rukmani, Anmol, Mehak, Preeti Sharma, Komal Saini won 2nd position in different Junior age groups of Solo dance Kareena Mohottea, Dopinder Singh, Sidharth Kaith and Gurdeep Singh got 3rd prize in different Junior age groups of Solo dance Senior Solo Dance Shekhar Rajput and Komal Sharma won 1st prize in different senior age groups of Solo dance Rahul Kumar and Raj Nandani got 2nd prize in different senior age groups of Solo dance Rahul Atri and Ankush Singh won 3rd prize in different senior age groups of Solo dance Duet Dance Harsheen and Harshleen won 1st prize in Sub Junior duet dance competition Muskaan and Shivali, Akriti and Ahana won 1st prize in different junior age groups of duet dance competition Kiran and Rukmani won 2nd prize in different junior age groups of duet dance competition Abhishek and Mehak got 3rd prize prize in different junior age groups of duet dance competition Senior Duet Dance Vikas and Sahil Mehra won 1st prize Anshuman and Dimple got 2nd prize Harman Dance Institute won 3rd prize
