JOB DESCRIPTION Senior Living Communities, LLC TITLE: Business Manager Assistant DEPARTMENT: Administration REPORTS TO: Executive Director FLSA: Non-Exempt POSITION SUMMARY: Provides administrative support for the human resources and accounting functions at the community. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Represents the campus in a positive manner while creating an environment that fosters respect and courtesy for residents and employees alike. Works within the campus programs to promote safety and the well-being of all residents and employees. 2. Upholds the community’s Mission Statement. 3. Maintains a level of confidentiality that parlays with HIPAA standards. 4. Responsible for reporting “overtime” on a weekly basis to the appropriate Department Head. 5. Monitors Silverchair training program and assures all training programs are being followed in a timely manner. Runs compliance reports to detail non-compliance by department. Provides necessary charting transfers for data on in-services into employee file. 6. Responsible for the processing of resident status change forms in a timely manner. 7. Maintains rent roll and coordinates with Home Office team to ensure accurate reporting of census. 8. Responsible for census tracking to include taking the status change forms and adjusting the daily headcount for any one of the departments like IL, AL, ALZ, or SNF. 9. Collects payments from residents or authorized representatives, itemizes daily deposits and prepares monthly deposit schedule for the management company. 10. Responsible for collections process in the event payment is not received in a timely manner. 11. Accounts receivable prep work is coordinated in an organized and timely manner. 12. Ensures that all accounts payable records are provided to the management company in an organized and timely manner. This includes receiving and distributing vendor invoices to the appropriate managers for approval and obtaining approval on all vendor invoices from Executive Director. 13. Provides additional administrative support as requested by the Business Manager and/or Executive Director. PREREQUISITES: A. Education - College Degree Preferred B. Direct Previous Experience - Office or administrative experience required C. Skills: - Ability to work with minimal supervision. - Must conduct all business with a professional manner and with a high level of confidentiality. - Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) plus the willingness to learn other computer programs if required. D. Abilities: - Work indoors (fluorescent lights, HVAC system, carpeted flooring, normal office noise levels). - Climb up to two flights of stairs. - Lift objects of 25 pounds or less over the head. - Sit in a chair for extended periods of time. https://home.eease.adp/recruit2/?id=8457051&t=1
