CREDIT OFFICERS (12 POSTS) Reporting to the credit supervisor, his/her key duties and responsibilities will include Marketing of products in the area of operation. Facilitate recruitment and registration of clients in existing and new groups. Stimulate client training on FCSL policies, procedures and basic business skills. Loan disbursements and deposit mobilization that meet defined growth and quality targets Submission of weekly and monthly performance reports Responsible for cumulating and maintaining client information Maintain good public relation between FCSL and outsiders e.g. Public administration, churches, business community etc Qualifications, experience and skills Have a bachelors degree in a business related field or a diploma in Co-operative Management, Business Administration, credit management (CCP 2) or its equivalent. KC SE mean grade C or its equivalent. Have knowledge in group and individual lending Excellent oral and written communication skills Persuasive with strong recognition and presentation skills. Self-driven and possess the ability to work with minimum supervision. KC SE mean grade C or its equivalent At least two years experience in group and individual lending Excellent oral and written communication skills Persuasive with strong recognition and presentation skills. Should possess leadership skills REGIONAL CREDIT SUPERVISORS Reporting to the credit regional managers, his/her key duties and responsibilities will include Marketing of products in the area of operation. Day to day decision making and problem solving in the regions. Qualifications, experience and skills Have a bachelors degree in a business related field or a diploma in Co-operative Management, Business Administration, credit management (CCP 2) or its equivalent. KC SE mean grade C or its equivalent At least three years experience in group and individual lending Excellent oral and written communication skills At least 1 year in supervisory level. Persuasive with strong recognition and presentation skills. Self-driven and possess the ability to work with minimum supervision. A person of high integrity and ethical behavior. Should possess leadership skills Credit analyst Reporting to the head of credit, his/her key duties and responsibilities will include 1) Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money. 2) Prepare reports that include the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money. 3) Evaluate customer records and recommend payment plans based on earnings, savings data, payment history, and purchase activity. 4) Confer with credit association and other business representatives to exchange credit information. 5) Generate financial ratios to evaluate customers financial status. 6) Review individual or commercial customer files to identify and select delinquent accounts for collection. 7) Compare liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of establishments being evaluated with those of similar establishments in the same industries and geographic locations. 8) Consult with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions. Qualifications, experience and skills A business Related degree, CPA 2 or CCP 2. KC SE mean grade C+ or its equivalent At least three years experience in group and individual lending Proven analyst experience (at least 2 years) in a medium to large size bank or financial institution. Strong analytical and verification skills, Strong communication skills. Strong computer skills Good presentation skills.
