JOB OPPORTUNITY; GENERAL MANAGER; Job Purpose: Directing. Co-coordinating, controlling and managing the daily operations of MKF and ensuring the company’s targets and objectives are achieved. Job Description Answerable to the Chief Executive Officer for the following duties: 1. Stock Control: i.e Stock recording, Stock taking, Stock evaluating, Stock reporting, Stock ordering and cross referencing actual stock with sales to see if stock is missing. 2. Financial Control: Revenue collection, Banking, Financial reports (Daily, weekly, monthly), petty cash/ Expenses control, Outward Payment control Report monthly gross sales, gross profit, operating costs, and MOST importantly NET PROFIT. 3. Price control: Pricing, 4. Employee performance management. Prepare reports: Daily, weekly, monthly reports on employees. Must be against agreed measurable objectives and targets for each employee. Set all employees together with CEO specific measurable objectives and targets Take swift corrective action if targets and objects are not being achieved - Collect all employee individual, daily, weekly, monthly reports 5. Provide Team Leadership/ Motivation: Motivate team daily with target reviews, Holding weekly meetings and drive the meeting, Monitor business fluctuation and employees, Ensure employees undertake job description and perform efficiently, effectively and in a friendly manner. 6. Business growth: facilitate growth of business by maintaining smooth flow of stock, Formulate and present business ideas, Implement growth strategies and ideas. 6. Customer Service/efficiency - Keenly look out for any customer compliments, complaints, dissatisfaction or distress and solve in the best way. Make sure everyone is working efficiently; - take down all suggestions or remarks by customers Make random customer satisfaction calls (CEO should be doing this as well!!!) Nb// Provide strategic leadership for the marketing and sales activities Job Specification. A university degree in a business related field Proof of financial management skills Minimum experience of three years in a management / supervisory position – fashion is too specific and business is business although retail would be an advantage. Excellent interpersonal, leadership and customer service Ability to work under pressure and for long hours. Be ready to work late when necessary. Total dedication to the work.
