ORDER FILLERS (Pick & Pack) Job Description: - Using order wave pick generated by customer invoices, accurately selects product from the Distribution Center storage locations and assembles order for delivery to checking. Follows all order filling team guidelines for pre-packing orders. (i.e. use of rubber bands, bags, bulk box labeling, bin and conveyor loading). - Alerts the Production Coordinator to any irregularities in the product inventory (i.e. item count and location errors and product damage). - Maintain the housekeeping standards of the Distribution Center. Keeps the D. C. aisles clear, removes empty package from the storage locations and maintains the orderliness and cleanliness of the facility work areas, restrooms and break rooms. - Support the company goals for continuous improvement. Contributes to an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation among all D.C. staff. - Performs other duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications: - A high school diploma or G.E.D. - Candidate must be able to read and understand a moderately sophisticated set of order filling instructions. - Desirable relevant work experience includes warehouse labor (receiving, order filling, shipping or customer service). - Proficient with computer data entry and report pulling - Lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis, standing, bending, twisting, overhead reaching, pushing, pulling, walking a lot, etc. Drug testing and criminal background checks conducted upon hire.
