JOB OPPORTUNITY Position: ADMIN SUPERVISOR Location: Tete Division / Dept: ADMINISTRATION Functions / responsibilities: • Responsible for the implementation of operational strategy, polices and procedures • Ensure that systems, policies and process disciplines are audited and corrective action steps are implemented o Accountable for the correct implementation and ongoing adherence of system, process and policy in the Cash Office, Frontline, Refunds, Banking, Cheque Books, Customer Repairs, Customer Deliveries, Customer Credits, Loss Prevention, Fixed Assets, Store Assets, Internal Mail, Store Communication, Sundry Purchases, Accruals, Goods Receiving, Goods Return to Vendor, Store Contracts and Inventory Control. • Responsible for planning and implementing Financial and Perpetual Stock Takes • Managing stock control- conduct, investigate and report on Stock Integrity in Store • Financial targets on expenses must be managed to budget or below • Implement performance management and IR processes in store using the IM process o Ensure staff are aware and understand performance management and IR processes o Update employee disciplinary records o Create and maintain a healthy workplace through regular communication with staff, coaching, reinforcement of process and policy and the sensitive handling of IR issues • Manage sundry supplier contracts • Ensuring all financial admin is complete and accurate • Provide a proficient HR and Payroll function in store o Accountable for the processing and control of staff attendance records o Responsible for the coordination of recruitment, sourcing and screening of staff; ensuring that the appropriate policies and documentation are collated for submission to the payroll department o Liaise with payroll and check details o Induction and orientation of new starters o Preparation of overtime schedules o Accountable for confidentiality in terms of staff records o Responsible for staff performing to required standard to meet operational and financial objectives • Arranging and planning store events or new product launches • Maintain a professional image at all times Requirements: • Minimum Grade 12/ Matric (Additional qualifications would be an advantage) • Minimum of 3 years related experience at management level in a retail hardware environment • Ability to demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of retail and accounting principles. • Experience in/exposure to the retail building supply industry preferable. • Computer literate in MS Office, MS Outlook & SAP • Ability to understand and analyse retail financial records to maximize profitability • Management experience essential in managing business processes and people • Excellent attention to detail & planning and organizing skills • Excellent verbal and written communication • Excellent customer service orientation • Excellent administrative skills Please email your CV in English version to oscar.micaiane@gmail
