INTERN (Project Management) The Sagicor Jamaica Group Are you a dedicated, energetic and enthusiastic final year student or recent graduate who wants to gain valuable experience and contribute to the success of our Company? If so, the Sagicor Jamaica Group is looking for persons like you to participate in our Sagicor Experience Internship Programme, starting in October. Selected candidates will join the company to work for a minimum of three (3) months in their chosen field, gaining valuable work experience and exposure to developmental opportunities that will make them more marketable in the current economic environment. Successful applicants will possess the following: Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn High energy levels and a desire to be part of a performance-driven environment Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats Working knowledge of computer applications software, including word processing and spreadsheet packages Excellent time management and interpersonal skills Additionally, those applying for the Project Management Internship will have some or all of the following: Bachelor’s degree in a field related to information technology, with some classes in business management Some experience using Microsoft Projects and excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite Some basic knowledge of project management processes, including preparing status reports, taking project meeting minutes, updating schedules, resource plans, and financials Internships are currently unpaid; however, a weekly stipend will be provided for successful participants, to aid in covering meal and transportation expenses. Flexible hours may be negotiated, depending on nature of projects and assignments, to accommodate participants attending classes.
