****JOB VACANCY**** Summary Job Title: Technical Services Account Manager Area: Sheffield Salary/Hourly rate 15k to 24k (depends on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours) Duration: Permanent Company Business Solutions company seeks a Technical Services Manager, a new role for the company. Job Role Job duties include; Sales & Marketing Managing customer relationships and developing lead generation activities in order to achieve the agreed level of monthly gross profit, growth in sales and improvements in profitability. Using and maintaining the Customer Relationship Management and Accounts system to build a knowledge base of prospects and customers. Fulfilling incoming sales enquiries in a professional and responsive manner. Assisting with and/or the development of tenders, proposals and customer communication in order to maximise sales effectiveness. Working individually and as part of a team to develop ideas and concepts aimed at increasing lead generation and maximising company profitability. Managing the “Lead Generation” elements of their campaign planning including telemarketing, direct mail, advertising, PR, networking events and exhibitions. Building and maintaining adequate knowledge regarding products and their application in order to provide appropriate customer support and maintain industry credibility. Service Delivery Working with the operations team to manage the implementation and delivery of technical products and services to customers and managing external resources (profitably), to faciliate quality assurance, customer service and service contract management. When appropriate interface with the Operations Team to faciliate the progress of customer projects or queries and communicate with the customers on their behalf. Maintaining an up-to-date portfolio of suppliers and competitors including contact details, product and USPs. Partner/Vendor Relationships To develop and maintain relationships with all our technical partners to ensure we comply with our responsibilities within these relationships and at all times strive to maximise the quality and value of these relationships; especially with regards to product knowledge, gross profit margins and legal compliance. Building and maintaining an adequate knowledge base regarding products and their application in order to support internal staff, provide appropriate customer support and maintain industry credibility. Reporting and Management To keep a record of key sales, marketing and technical performance indicators and produce management reports relating to sales and marketing activity, ICT activity and Technical Services projects and contracts. To carry out any reasonable tasks as requested by the Directors Criteria This role requires a proactive self starter who is experienced in and enjoys winning new business and building client relationships. Experience in account managing clients, working to ragets and the ability to hit the ground running is essential to this role. It is essential to have experience of selling at least one of the following; Phone Systems – ISDN lines Support agreements/maintenance contracts Networking Infrastructures Sage software Benefits Package Package includes a salary of 15k to 24k depending on experience, incapped commission, mileage expenses paid fpr, free parking, 28 days holiday including bank holidays, working hours Monday to Friday 08:30am to 5pm or 09:00am to 5:30pm, 1 hour lunch.
