JOC Operator job announcement: SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The candidate assists with the daily JOC Operations. Specifically, the candidate conducts the following tasks: Joint Operations Mission Support, tracking OCONUS/CONUS unit movements, provide situational awareness to senior leadership, basic administrative work (answers phones, provide e-mail updates, etc.), support 24/7 operations in the Joint Operations Center, including shift work and weekends. In addition to the summary of the duties above the incumbent will need to possess above average skills in using Microsoft Power Point, Word, and Excel. This position is highly visible and Soldier must, at all times, maintain his or her military bearing both on and off duty.
