John R Tweedel WORK HISTORY B & B Inspections – Sept 2013 to Jan 2014 • Welding Inspector for Bear Den Project, Centerpoint Energy in North Dakota Duties also included: • Ensure all welding in accordance to company specifications, guidelines, and in conformance with API 1104 • Inspections of utilities, coatings, boring, cleanup, etc., for 65 miles of 8,6,4,&3 inch steel mainlines, 65 miles of 6,4,&3 inch water flexlines, all laterals, and tie-ins to launchers, receivers, and LACT units. • Interact with client to resolve issues, waivers, or deviations from original scope • Report to Chief Inspector. Cust-O-Fab Field Services, Altair Strickland Inc., Parfab Field Services, Construction & Turnaround Services(CTS) - Mar 2000 to Jun 2013 • Site Safety Supervisor for Altair Strickland and Parfab on contractual basis on various refinery shutdowns. Duties included: • • Managing and overseeing all aspects of safety. • Enforce all procedures and practices • Communicate known hazards to client and crews, mitigate such hazards and eliminate, as applicable. • Lead daily safety meetings. • Ensure implementation of OSHA standards and regulations • Keep records of all documentation for each crew member. • Give specialized training, and orientate new hires. • • Refractory Quality Assurance for Cust-O-Fab Field Services. Duties included: • • Ensure all refractory installations were performed to client procedures and specifications. • Interact with client to resolve any issues with changes of circumstance. • Keep accurate records of all applications . Welder/Fitter for Construction & Turnaround Services, Duties included: Fitting, fabricating, and welding forms, nozzles, and other components to specifications and according to blue prints in preparation of casting refractory materials. • Rigger/Fitter for all above companies.
